What is Orego-Stim Avian Complete liquid?

Orego-Stim Avian Complete is a 100% natural, milky coloured liquid which has interesting properties when added to the drinking water.

 

How does it work?

Orego-Stim Avian Complete works by cleansing and replenishing the gut lining to improve the overall health of the bird.

 

What are the recommended usage instructions?

Orego-Stim Avian Complete is for continuous administration at an inclusion rate of 10ml per 2.5 litres of fresh drinking water.

Orego-Stim Avian Complete should not be used in undiluted form.

 

What is the shelf life of Orego-Stim Avian Complete liquid?

When stored in the packaging provided and out of direct sunlight, a shelf life of 2 years has been designated. Once open use within 6 months.

Prolonged exposure to light and air may cause components of the product to oxidize resulting in reduced activity and potential non-acceptance by birds.

 

Is Orego-Stim Avian Complete compatible with other products including antibiotics?

Research and field observations have indicated that the incorporation of Orego-Stim Avian Complete in conjunction with products such as enzymes, acids, amino acid chelates, antiseptic compounds and/or any of the regularly used therapeutic antibiotics, has a somewhat synergistic effect and enhanced levels of performance within production systems have been observed by commercial units worldwide.

The only contraindication for the use of Orego-Stim Avian Complete, due to its mode of action, is that it is highly unsuitable for inclusion simultaneously with products containing live yeast.

 

Should I not use probiotics with Orego-Stim Avian Complete?

Essentially the active components of Orego-Stim Avian Complete will have the effect of killing a proportion of probiotics that contain live bacteria or yeast, making them ineffective for their intended purpose. But studies have shown that Orego-Stim Avian Complete in combination with probiotics actually boosts the growth of beneficial bacteria, which is continuously replenished at a higher rate due to the absence of pathogenic bacteria and so the process of competitive exclusion takes its natural course.

 

Can birds overdose on Orego-Stim Avian Complete?

There is NO possibility of overdosing animals with Orego-Stim Avian Complete, as its aromatic properties will make it too spicy for the bird to consume at a point when it is mixed in the water in too large an amount. So if a mistake occurs in the mixing process and the quantity of Orego-Stim Avian Complete that is mixed into the water is more than it is supposed to be, the birds will simply refuse the water. So once the problem is recognised, all you have to do to rectify the situation is to further dilute the water accordingly to achieve the correct inclusion rates.
